Melatonin is only produced in the dark. What it does is reduce body temperature and make you feel slow.
So, if you are always confined in your room (with a curtain closed), it will be difficult to hold back so you don’t stay in bed.
This is the reason why many people suffer from depression are far more often in winter than in other seasons.
It’s just because the night is longer.
If you are not able to get sunlight, you can always alleviate your room with brighter lights to help compensate for the darkness.
Or…
You can have lunch outside the office for a change and often take a walk in the afternoon instead of driving your car in a short distance.
The choice is unlimited. This is really up to you.
Tips # 2. Stay busy and get inspiration.
You will be more likely to overcome the feelings of depression if you are still busy doing the activities you like the most.
Do the things you like.
If you are a little short of money, you can get involved in simple things like a relaxing walk in the park, playing sports, reading books, or interesting in whatever activities you have and want to chase.
Also, set goals.
No matter how difficult or discourse, remain strong, remain steadfast, and have an unshakable belief that you can do whatever you want.
With this kind of positive attitude, you will get a cheerful tendency to defeat the Blues.
Tips # 3. Rest. Sit and relax.
I mean it.
Listen to some of the soothing music that you like. Soak in a nice warm shower. Just break from your workload full of pressure and spend days that constantly do the things you like.
In other words, have fun. Short life like that.
Tips # 4. Maintain a healthy diet and stay fit.
Avoid food with lots of sugar, caffeine, or alcohol.
Sugar and caffeine can give you a short energy moment; But they will then bring anxiety, tension, and internal problems.
Alcohol on the other hand is depressant. Many people will drink alcohol to just “forget about their problems.”
What they do is worsens their conditions in the process.

No man is an island. Your inner circle is there to give you moral support.
Spend time and engage in valuable activities with them can give you a very satisfying feeling.
And we are all now … nothing feels better than having group support.
